About
My name is Rob, and I love New England sports, probably because I grew up in Maine and when I wasn’t digging my way out of snow drifts or riding moose (that’s a joke) I was watching the Sox lose, the Patriots lose, and the Bruins and Celtics begin losing eras (Note: I was born September 24, 1986, right at the end of the winter glory days in Beantown). My earliest memories of sports are reading about some team called the “Pats” losing every week in the Monday papers, asking my dad why “Boston” was on top in the box score even though they lost, and seeing the Cowboys win (thus causing my hatred for the Cowboys). I have never liked any other franchises with the exception of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to my idolization of Mike Alstott. That said, 2001-2005 were good years for me when it came to football.
But I digress.
I will offer unapologetic views on the Patriots, their opponents, and the terrible announcing that network TV seems to think is good. I hope you enjoy, because I know I will.
Also: Yes, this blog started in week 9. I was covering the Sox up until now, so give me a break; too much awesome has been known to kill.
